A Philanthropic End to 2014

Light snow, lit up houses and large crowds flocking to Rockefeller Plaza can only mean one thing – the holiday season! At Madison Estates we’ve been using this time to reflect on our relationships not only with clients but with the community.

We’re committed to giving back when we can because we’re proud to be part of Brooklyn’s fabric. Over Thanksgiving we ‘chipped’ in to support CHiPS (Park Slope Christian Help) Soup Kitchen and Women’s Shelter by teaming up with our business partner, Western Beef. Together, we showed our canned-do attitude and donated over 3,500 cans of food including corn, sausages and spaghetti and meatballs. Families that hooray together stay together and we wanted to make sure that amongst the celebrations of the holidays, everyone in the community could benefit from a hot nutritious meal.

Toys1
For Christmas, we called upon our networks of contacts and staff quicker than shoppers running to televisions at the Walmart Black Friday sale. In just days, we collected over 400 toys for our Toys for Tots drive. The donations collected are passed on to less fortunate children in the communities where the Marine Corps Reserve Units are located.
This is just the beginning. Turning out attention to 2015, we look forward to continuing to do our bit make the community a better place for everyone. We’d love to hear from you and what your suggestions are on where we can help.
Happy holidays.
